Hair Loss

So I have been freaking out the last few weeks because I have been pulling out my hair LITERALLY in clumps! I have been trying to keep my hair up in a bun because truthfully its just embarrassing the amount of hair I am losing. I noticed about a month after Liam was born. I have been continuing to take my prenatals because I was certain it was a vitamin deficiency of some sort. I try not to look anything up on the Internet because no matter what the ailment...its ALWAYS cancer! My curiosity got the best of me and had to see if I was the only one in the world who leaves half my head of hair in the shower. Turns out...IM NOT!!!!! After pregnancy it is "common" for women to lose their hair" due to a huge drop in Estrogen levels. Some women even complained of getting bald spots (which I do not have at this point...thank God!!!!) I was looking to see how long this was going to go on and some said up to a year after baby??? So in 6 more months...maybe I will have a few bald spots??? Til then I have decided to take a couple inches off my hair, continue to take my prenatals and switch to a strengthening shampoo/conditioner.

If I should go bald. You probably will not see the pictures here...maybe a wig??? How hot would that look???

This Friday we FINALLY got our taxes filed. Looks like we are going to clean up pretty good this year. Hard to believe that one little guy (who weighs less than 20 pounds) would make such a difference in our return. We are getting almost $3000 more than we did last year! I wish that I could just go blow all that money on one huge shopping trip but Lord knows I need to get caught up on all these bills, pay a few things off and get Lil Blue tagged! Speaking of Lil Blue...After my flat tire a couple weeks ago, Monday Kate and I were driving around and noticed that my heat wasn't working. Ended up costing me another $100 to fix a switch? So in the last month...I have spent $350 on Lil Blue. I found myself promising her the other day that if she could hold out another month...I would buy her a couple more tires, get her an oil change and a tune up and she would feel soooo much better.

Valentine's Day is coming up soon. Holidays...even the ones that are so easily dismissed by others are sooo fun to me. I celebrate them all..and decorate for them all! LOL This year may be a challenge for Duane and I to go out as we have never left little man alone for very long but we are hoping for dinner and a movie (in town of course). I know I say it alot but my entire life I have never been with someone that I could get excited about dinner and a movie....til now! I LOVE U POOKIE BEAR!!!

I finally got my Christmas layout finished! I seldom use templates but I really liked this one I picked up from Little Green Frog Designs. This kit is amazing and non-traditional by SuzyQ.

One last thought for the day. I learned today that one of my residents from PVM passed away suddenly this morning. I am not able to say much more due to HIPPA regulations but just wanted to say he will be missed and my thoughts are with his family.

2 DO......

Last week started off horrible! Monday night I took the keys home with me!!! On my way back 2 the manor..I was unlucky enough to have a flat tire but lucky enough to have several people stop to help. Not that it did any good cuz I had to call a tow truck in the end anyway but it was a nice reminder that there are still a few good people left in the world. After 4 hours of shivering and $250 later...I had me a new tire thanx to a couple good friends! I always think...I am gonna put money back for an emergency such as this but the problem is...there is never anything left after the bills are paid and essentials are bought. Hoping to get caught up after taxes....HURRY FEBRUARY!!!!!

Liam has been sleeping great! Still gets up once in the night and starts his morning super early...but its a schedule we can all adhere to and for that...VERY thankful!

Today is my day off. YES!!!

MY 2 DO LIST:
  • Get Valentines Day Stuff Out (THE TIME IS NOW)
  • Make the cookie mix I got for Christmas (been craving M&Ms and I can see them in mix!!!)
  • Pick up meds from pharmacy
  • Go to the Dr (4 me this time)
  • Wally visit for some groceries for supper and Tylenol for my little teething baby
  • Swing by Kirb's for the rent drop
  • Go pick up Liam's shoes I got from the Maryille kids site
  • Take Liam to Mom's house for a visit
  • Cook supper
  • Bathe the baby
  • GO 2 BED!!!!
And this is why I never feel rested...MAMA ON THE GO!!! But I wouldn't change anything about my life! Everything is as it should be.

Goals for 2013....

While thinking of all the things that I want to do in 2013 after I finished this layout I thought of 1 more....BLOG MORE!!!!

Last night was New Years Eve and while I didn't get to spend it at home watching New Years Rocking Eve with my best girl I was happy to be safe at home and off of the snow covered streets. I love working @ PVM but the 2 things I don't like are that its so far away in the winter...doesn't bother me the rest of the year and that they don't pay as much as other places in the area. Thinking I should just be happy that I am not at a job that I am absolutely miserable at...sure there are good days and bad and working evenings suck cuz I don't get to see my babies much through the week but it is the shift that works best right now with the baby still getting up for feedings in the night.

This week Mom and I and Kate are going shopping before work and Friday I have a day off. I get so excited about what others think are small things but to me....they are the really big things!

Kate and I picked out 2 recipes from Pinterest to try this weekend. We have loved just about everything I have cooked from Pinterest minus the crescent roll stuff...it has been brought to my attention that I am not a fan of crescent rolls. I would prefer to puke in my pocket AND Liam's!

Here is whats 4 supper!

I'm gonna add shredded lettuce and Roma tomatoes to the burritos! YUMMO!

AND FOR DESSERT.....

How simple and yummy do these look????
