Stressssssss

Today has been stressful. I worked 12 hour shifts all weekend. I came home and made Kate French Toast cuz she was hoping for My Favorite Muffin and it was so cold I wasn't in the mood for it.

Mama has been sick. Hope she is feeling better. Duane and I did some errands for her this morning and she bought us KFC for doing so. Tasted realllllly good going down but I had to take a 2 hour nap to recover from it because it left me feeling like slime.

Andy has been hounding me to come home on pass but he gets out in a month and its such a money sucker when he comes home so I am hoping he can hold out a little bit longer.

Took the rest of the required documents in to apply for medicaid for me and baby. Im sure I will have a letter in the mail tomorrow telling me what I did wrong!

Sleep? I can never get enough. Luckily I am off tonight so I will get caught up in a major way! I work the next 4 nights so better rest up!

Entry #1!!!!

5 WEEKS

6 WEEKS
So here I am again. Starting my own blog.

I am currently 7 weeks along with my third child. Very nervous as I am now 36 and I have read so much about the risks of pregnancy after the age of 35. Eeek! Trying to stay positive as Duane and I have talked about having a baby since we first met. This will be his first child and he is completely over the moon!

Both of our parents are really excited as my Mother has been pushing for me to have another child for years. I believe Duane's parents had given up hope that he was going to give them a grandchild.

We got the news @ the end of 4 weeks as I was a week late and had been trying for a really long time. My son Andrew (16) is currently in a detention center in Topeka, KS and will be released @ the end of next week so I had to call him to share our news. While he was surprised, I believe he is happy. My 13 year old daughter Kaitlyn did not take the news well and cried. She was certain we were replacing her and she would no longer be the baby.

2 1/2 weeks later, all the tension is gone. Well, minus the everyday tension. We have made a few minor purchases and got a punch card from Once Upon A Child. I frequented this store when my teenagers were babies. I was so sad when they outgrew it!
